FD Lux – Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25/01/2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by FD Lux Chauffeur Travel (“FD Lux”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking with FD Lux, the client (“you”, “the customer”) confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Company Overview

FD Lux is a luxury chauffeur and travel company based in Yorkshire, providing high-end chauffeur-driven transport, self-drive supercar hire, private aviation, airport concierge services, and discreet close protection across the United Kingdom. Our fleet includes premium and prestige vehicles, including Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maybach, Mercedes VIP vehicles, and high-performance supercars.

Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by FD Lux. A booking is not considered confirmed until the required deposit or full payment has been received. FD Lux reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where operational, safety, legal, or security considerations apply.

Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the service date or in accordance with the payment schedule provided at the time of booking. Prices quoted are based on the agreed itinerary, vehicle, duration, and services. Any amendments requested by the client may result in additional charges. FD Lux reserves the right to adjust pricing where changes occur after confirmation.

Cancellations

All deposits paid to FD Lux are non-refundable. Where cancellation notice is provided within an acceptable timeframe, FD Lux may, at its discretion, offer a one-time transfer of the booking to a future date, subject to availability. Cancellations made outside the agreed notice period, or failure to attend the booking, will result in full forfeiture of all monies paid. No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Amendments and Additional Charges

Any changes to the booking, including itinerary, timings, locations, or vehicle type, must be agreed in advance. Additional time, mileage, waiting time, tolls, parking fees, or unscheduled stops may incur supplementary charges. The client will be responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, or misuse of vehicles during the booking.

Late Arrivals

Clients are responsible for being ready at the agreed collection time. Waiting time may be charged where delays occur. Significant delays may result in the booking being shortened or cancelled without refund where subsequent commitments are affected.

Vehicle Use and Passenger Conduct

All FD Lux vehicles must be treated with respect at all times. Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, and unsafe behaviour are strictly prohibited. FD Lux reserves the right to terminate a journey immediately, without refund, where passenger conduct compromises safety, legality, or vehicle condition.

Self-Drive Supercar Hire

Self-drive hire is subject to driver eligibility, insurance approval, and verification checks. Clients must provide valid identification and driving documentation prior to hire. Any fines, penalties, damages, or losses incurred during the hire period remain the sole responsibility of the client.

Close Protection Services

Close protection services are provided subject to prior risk assessment and agreement. FD Lux reserves the right to refuse or withdraw protection services where safety cannot be reasonably assured.

Private Jet, Helicopter and Aviation Services

Private aviation services are provided through third-party operators. FD Lux acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or operational decisions made by aviation providers. Weather conditions, air traffic control restrictions, and security requirements may impact flight availability.

Liability

FD Lux shall not be liable for delays or service disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic conditions, weather, accidents, road closures, or force majeure events. FD Lux does not accept liability for missed flights, events, or connections resulting from such circumstances. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the client at all times.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

FD Lux reserves the right to refuse or terminate services without refund where safety, legality, or professional standards are compromised, or where false or misleading information has been provided at the time of booking.

Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted in via email to sale@fdlux.co.uk within 7 days of the service date. FD Lux will review all complaints fairly and aim to reach a prompt and professional resolution.

Privacy and Data Protection

Client data is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation. Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of managing bookings and delivering services.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Payments and Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. Full payment must be received prior to the service date unless otherwise agreed. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances. Cancellations made outside the agreed notice period, late cancellations, or failure to attend the booking will result in full loss of all monies paid. FD Lux may, at its discretion, offer a one-time date transfer subject to availability.
